53-CCC-220 is a nickel graphite loaded conductive silicone adhesive. It is from Newmet’s range of conductive particle adhesive sealants which are a one part electrically conductive room temperature curing silicone. They are supplied as a readily extrudable paste that cures rapidly when exposed to atmospheric moisture. When completely cured these adhesives are highly resilient elastomers that exhibit superior adhesion to a variety of substrates as well as low-volume resistivity.
Surfaces to be bonded must be clean, dry and oil free. For maximum adhesion and RFI shielding, weight should be applied to the sealed interface during cure.
Features of the product are:
- Electrically conductive
- Non-corrosive
- One part – no mixing
- Thixotropic paste
- Excellent adhesion to various substrates
- Available in 60g metal tubes. Also available in cartridges
- Temperature range -55 to + 200ºC
